Sheer Khurma is a Persian word meaning “Milk with dates”. This dish is made with fried dates and noodles. Sheer khurma is Mughlai desert. But according to some story tellers it leads back to Islam history where Hazrat Fatima (A.S) cooked sheer khurma for her sons on the eve of eid it was the first time when this dish was cooked.
